Lots of news is happening regarding upcoming TV shows. Can you believe the fall TV premieres are next month? Where did summer go?
Anyway, here’s some TV show news:

–Are you watching Spike TV’s “Murder?” It’s a good show, and even better, it will star a local resident in the Sept. 4 episode. Clark Main of Erie will be in the reality show. It airs at 10 p.m. Tuesdays.
Spike TV built a Murder Crime Scene widget that recreates the show with some exclusive unlockable footage. Check it out at www.rocketxl.com/dev/murder/assets.htm.
–The Season 3 finale of “Hell’s Kitchen” airs at 9 p.m. Monday on Fox. It’s Bonnie versus Rock in the final round. The winner gets a cooking gig in Las Vegas.
–Duane “Dog” Chapman from A/E’s reality show “Dog, the Bounty Hunter,” will air a special show called “A Man Called Dog.” It airs at 9 p.m. Tuesday on A/E. The hour-long show is about his past life as a criminal, and visits a prison to encourage inmates to change their life.
–It’s official. Actor Joe Mantegna is joining the cast of CBS’ “Criminal Minds.” He replaces Mandy Patinkin who left last month due to “creative differences.” Details of Mantegna’s character has yet to be determined.
Mantegna was nominated for his role in USA’s “The Starter Wife.” He also starred in “The Last Don,” “Joan of Arcadia,” and “First Monday.”
–“Saving Grace” and “Burn Notice” have been picked up for a second season. Burn Notice airs on USA Network, and Saving Grace (starring Holly Hunter) can be seen on TNT.
–A ‘jackass’ has his own reality show. Steve-O from “Jackass” will be in a show called “Dr. Steve-O” and will debut at 11 p.m. Oct. 1 on USA Network. Recently joining the cast is Trishelle Cannatella from “Real World: Las Vegas.”
In the show, Steve-O’s mission is to “de-wussify” wimps, nerds and couch potatoes who have been nominated by family or friends. Stunts and dares are a part of the show.
