1st victim of ‘Dancing’ and Tuesday’s ratings winners

To no one’s surprise, Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Josie Maran was the first to get booted off Dancing with the Stars. Rounding out the bottom two was Dallas Maverick’s owner Mark Cuban.

In other TV news, House and ‘Dancing’ ruled Tuesday’s ratings. According to Nielsen estimates, ABC and Fox had the largest audiences. ‘Dancing’ averaged 18.3 million during its 90-minute premiere, while House garnered 18.1 million in its 4th season premiere. Overall, ABC won the entire night. Boston Legal helped with 10.3 million viewers in its premiere after ‘Dancing.’

CBS was third in total viewers for the night. NCIS debuted with 13.7 million viewers, and The Unit earned 10.7 million. The much advertised “Cane” with Jimmy Smits drew a modest 11.1 million – not too good considering they started advertising this show four months ago.
