Cast of a motion picture — 3:10 to Yuma, American Gangster, Hairspray, Into the Wild, No Country for Old Men
Male actor, leading role — George Clooney (Michael Clayton); Daniel Day-Lewis (There Will Be Blood); Ryan Gosling (Lars and the Real Girl); Emil Hirsch (Into the Wild), and Viggo Mortensen (Eastern Promises).
Female actor, leading role — Cate Blanchett (Elizabeth); Julie Christie (Away From Her); Marion Cotillard (La Vie En Rose); Angelina Jolie (A Mighty Heart), and Ellen Page (Juno).
