‘Blonde’ bombs with near-record sales
Jessica Simpson has had a rough month.
First, she is blamed for being the curse of Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo because she attended a game where he stunk up the joint.
Now, her holiday film “Blonde Ambition” grossed a whopping $1,200 on eight screens in Texas. The movie is now in DVD release format.
However, there is some good news for Jessica. The movie did not break the record for the lowest-grossing film in history. That goes to Katherine Heigl, whose movie “Zyzzx Road” opened last year on one screen and made $30.
