“Vantage Point” tops box office
“Vantage Point” easily took the top spot at the weekend box office, earning $24 million.
It knocked off last week’s number one, “Jumper,” to the second place slot. It earned $12.7, which raises its domestic total to $56.2 million in two weeks.
Vantage Point is about a presidential assassination seen from the viewpoints of different characters. The cast includes Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox.
