Here is the latest movie news:

Marvel Studios set release dates on its upcoming movies. Here they are:

-Iron Man 2 — April 30, 2010

-Thor — June 4, 2010

-The First Avenger: Captain America — May 6, 2011

-The Avengers — July of 2011

In other movie news:

–Writer/director/producer Adam McKay says “Anchorman 2″ will happen. He says that he and Will Ferrell are planning a sequel to the 2004 comedy. YES!!!

–Brandon Routh expects to star in the Superman sequel, called “Superman: Man of Steel.” Filming begins early next year. (I prefer the ‘Smallville’ guy than Routh!)

–A new trailer of the Incredible Hulk is out. Go HERE to see it. The movie arrives June 13.

–A “MacGyver” movie is in the planning stages. Further details are not available and no formal announcement has been made. Please tell me they’re not really doing this!

–Nicole Kidman will star in a biopic of British singer Dusty Springfield. Dubbed the White Queen of Soul, her hits included “Look of Love” and “Son of a Preacher Man.” Her personal life included drug and alcohol abuse, rumors of bisexuality and ultimately dying from cancer before her induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
