WALL-E outguns Jolie

Pixar’s new animated film, “WALL-E,” debuted at No. 1 at the box office this weekend.

The movie about a robot toiling away on a long-abandoned Earth hauled in $62.5 million. Angelina Jolie’s assassin thriller “Wanted” opened in second place with $51.1 million.

Last week’s No. 1 movie, “Get Smart,” fell to number three with $20 million, bringing its two-week total to $77.3 million.
