Will Smith is No. 1 again
For the fifth straight time, Will Smith has had a No. 1 movie debut over the Fourth of July weekend.
“Hancock,” a story about a boozing superhero, debuted with $66 million. Since Tuesday, it’s made $107.3 million.
Smith’s other No. 1 July 4 movies were Men in Black and its sequel, Wild Wild West and Independence Day.
WALL-E, last week’s top film, finished in second place with $33.4 million, raising its 10-day total to $128.1 million.
