TV NEWS
–The Simpsons will parody “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” for this season’s Halloween episode on Fox. It airs Nov. 2. Also, a Christmas episode will parody the “Transformers” movie.
–SOAPnet will air the entire first season of ABC’s series “Dirty Sexy Money” from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 27. All 10 episodes will be aired in order. The marathon leads up to the second season premiere, which begins at 10 p.m. Oct. 1 on ABC.
–Anthony Edwards will be reprising his role on ER as Dr. Mark Greene even though he died of brain cancer in a 2002 episode. He will return in flashbacks in a Nov. 13 episode.
–Zuleikha Robinson has been signed as a recurring character named Llana - a smart, dangerous European female - on ”Lost” this season.
–The Emmy’s will air live at 8 p.m. Sept. 21 on ABC from Los Angles.

LOCAL EVENTS
-The Waltz Old-Fashioned Homecoming Festival will be held Friday through Sunday at St. Joseph Waltz Memorial Park, Bismark St. Events include live entertainment, classic car show, parade and a carnival midway.
-Patriot Weekend at Farmer Charley’s Corn Maze runs today through Sunday. It’s located at 6421 N. Stony Creek Rd., in Monroe.
-Country Music Extravaganza and Antique Car Show will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Erie Orchards and Cider Mill, 1235 Erie Rd. For details, visit www.erieorchards.com.
-Ottawa Lake Sportsmen Club will host a fall nut fry/classic car cruise-in event from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday. The event includes live bluegrass bands, and is located at 9480 Memorial Hwy.

-The Toledo Zoo will host “The Big Feed” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Watch animals enjoy their daily meals.
-Dog Days of September will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Shops at Fallen Timbers, 3100 Main St., Maumee, Ohio. Free admission for the entire family, including dogs. There will be several dog activities, contests and pageants.
-Woodhaven’s Harvest Moon Festival is Friday and Saturday in Civic Center Park. Entertainment, parades, inflatable rides, car shows and more.
-The Michigan Irish Music Festival runs Friday through Sunday in downtown Muskegon at Heritage Landing.
