‘Desperate’ has high ratings

The premiere of Desperate Housewives on Sunday was a hit among viewers.

It had 18.4 million viewers - it’s biggest episode since Jan. 6. Another ABC show, Brothers & Sisters, also did well with 12.4 million viewers.

On the other side of the spectrum, the very first show of the new TV season has been canceled. Fox canceled Do Not Disturb after airing just three episodes. (Six episodes were produced). The show starred Jerry O’Connell and Niecy Nash.
