-30 Rock will feature more guest celebrities this season. Megan Mullally will be on the season opener at 9:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Also, Salma Hayek will play a recurring love interest for Alec Baldwin’s character.

-After bailing on him the first time, John McCain will be on the David Letterman Show tonight.

-USA Network has renewed “Burn Notice” and “Psych.”

-A Pink Panther animated series will be coming to the Cartoon Network. There will be 26 half-hour episodes of “Pink Panther & Pals” slated to run in fall, 2009.

LOCAL EVENTS

–The Bed Race to Aid Children will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Loranger Square in downtown Monroe.

–Teen Night in the Pool will be held from 6 to 8:45 p.m. Friday at Flat Rock Community Center, One Maguire St. Teens with a valid high school ID can swim. Cost is $5 each. For grades 9-12.

–A Pumpkin Extravaganza will be Saturday and Sunday at Erie Orchards, 1235 Erie Rd. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

–Octoberfest begins at 3 p.m. Saturday at Newport VFW hall, 5144 N. Dixie Hwy. Food, music, horseshoes, bonfire will be available.

–The 9th annual Ann Arbor Art Walk is a free event from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday in downtown Ann Arbor.
