‘Marley’ top dog at box office
The family comedy “Marley & Me” won a huge box office weekend for Hollywood.
The comedy about a rambunctious family dog took in $37 million over the weekend and a total of $51.7 million since Christmas day. It stars Owen Wilson and Jennifer Aniston.
Adam Sandler’s family flick “Bedtime Stories” was runner-up with $28 million over the weekend and $38.6 million over four days.
Brad Pitt’s “The Curious Case of Benjamin Button” grossed $27.2 million over the weekend and $39 million since Christmas day for third place.
Valkyrie, starring Tom Cruise, raked in $21.5 million over the weekend and $30 million since Christmas.
