-Jennifer Aniston and Jason Bateman have signed up to do a comedy together called “The Baster.” It centers on an insecure man who finds out his best friend wants to have a child through artificial insemination. He replaces her donor’s ’gift’ with his own…forcing him to live with the secret that he is the child’s father. Shooting begins this spring.

-Nick Cannon is replacing Jerry Springer as the host of NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.” The show returns for a fourth season this summer.

-”S. Darko,” the Donnie Darko spin-off film, will not play theatrically and will instead go directly to DVD on April 28.
