‘Madea’ locks up No. 1
Tyler Perry’s “Madea Goes to Jail” easily topped this weekend’s box office with $41.1 million.
Landing second was the thriller starring Liam Neeson in “Taken,” which earned $11.4 million. In four weeks, its earned $95.2 million.
Last week’s No. 1 — Friday the 13th — fell all the way to 6th place with $7.8 million.
