-The band “No Doubt” will appear in the May 11 episode of Gossip Girl. They won’t be playing themselves, rather, members of the band will play a fictional 1980s band called Snowed OUt in a flashback segment.
-”Creed” is reuniting after a six-year hiatus. The band is currently recording a new album.
-Oliver Stone is making a sequel to “Wall Street.” Michael Douglas is returning to reprise his role in the 1987 hit.
-Sarah Palin will be on tonight’s episode of TLC’s “American Chopper.” The crew from Orange County Choppers hangs out with the Alaskan governor since they were in Anchorage researching ways to build a bike to honor Alaska’s 50-year anniversary of being a state. It airs at 9 p.m. tonight on TLC.
-The WE television station is honoring the late Bea Arthur with marathon episodes of the “Golden Girls.” Look for it tonight.
-CBS is pulling “Harper’s Island” from its Thursday home to 9 p.m. Saturdays, effective immediately. The 13-episode murder-mystery series has steadily declined in its three weeks on air to a series-low 7 million viewers last week. Bummer — I actually like this show!
-Ricky Gervais’ children’s book, “Flanimals,” is being made into a movie. It will be a 3-D feature with Gervais voicing the lead character.
-NBC moved the low-rated “Kings” to this summer.
-The Jonas Brothers will host this year’s Teen Choice Awards, to air at 8 p.m. Aug. 10 on Fox.
