Hughes: One of a kind

If you grew up watching movies in the 1980s (like me), then I’m sure you were bummed to hear about the death of director John Hughes. He died of a heart attack last Thursday.  

Most people remember his most his most obvious movies, such as Pretty in Pink and Sixteen Candles, but I think you’ll be surprised by his full resume. He also made the following 80s and 90s films: Planes, Trains and Automobiles; Uncle Buck; She’s Having a Baby; Weird Science; Home Alone; Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; The Breakfast Club, and Some Kind of Wonderful.
