-New episodes of “FlashForward” won’t be seen again until March 4. ABC wants to air new episodes back-to-back without repeats. So it will air the show in March, which is after the holidays and after the 2010 Winter Olympics.

-Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston will star in a romantic comedy called “Pretend Wife.” The script is being kept under wraps, but is expected to be released on Feb. 11, 2011.

-Kristen Wiig will host the Saturday Night Live Christmas special as her recurring character named Gilly. “SNL Presents: A Very Gilly Christmas” will air at 8 p.m. Dec. 17 on NBC. The 2-hour special will be led by Wiig’s Gilly, an ever-smiling girl who delights in violent mischief. The show will feature new sketches with Gilly and will highlight classic holiday SNL sketches.

-We are not only weeks away from a new year, but the end of a decade. Rolling Stone’s new issue is full of end-of-the-year decade lists.

-Movieline is reporting that John Malkovich might play the Vulture in “Spider-Man 4″ with Anne Hathaway as the Vulturess. I hope this is true…stay tuned!

-CBS’ “The Big Bang Theory” hit a series high last Monday by drawing 14.4 million viewers. If you’re not watching this show, start watching now. It is hilarious!!

-Cameron Diaz will star in the raunchy comedy “Bad Teacher.” It’s about a foul-mouthed 7th grade teacher who gets dumped by her sugar daddy. She pursues a colleague, which provokes conflict with the school’s model teacher. Filming begins in the spring in L.A.

-Sad news for soap fans: CBS has canceled “As The World Turns” after more than 50 years. The final episode will air in September, it’s 54th year. The announcement comes on the heels of Guiding Light’s cancellation.

-Leonardo DiCaprio will play Jack Frost in the tentatively titled 3-D computer-animated feature “The Guardians.” Based on a William Joyce book series, the story puts a magical twist on the usual band of superheroes as Jack joins Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Sandman to battle the evil spirit Pitch. It’s due Nov. 4, 2012.

-TLC will tell the story of the miraculous landing of US Airways Flight 1549 in the Hudson River by Captain Sullenberger. A one-hour documentary, narrated by Harrison Ford, will premiere at 9 p.m. Jan. 10.
