S.S. Badger Carferry = #1 Link at Michigan.org

Published by Mike Ingels at 11:05 am under News Digest

I don’t know how many times I have said to myself, “Thank God for the carferries,” as I drive Kathy back to her family in Wisconsin.  The trip is always fun.  It avoids the sometimes impossible traffic through Chicago.  And with gas prices up, the Badger minicruise from Ludington is the cheapest way to get in a visit with Kathy’s family.

Apparently, other people love the Badger as well.  Kim Schneider at mlive reports that the Badger is the #1 site link at michigan.org, our state’s travel and tourism web page.

BTW, Jim DuFresne has an article about the Badger and Muskegon’s Lake Express carferry in the latest edition of Michigan: Blue Magazine.  They don’t post articles on the internet, so you’ll have to pick up a copy.
