I’ve always felt that the beauty of living in our part of the country is that there is so much work left to do.  I go to sleep at night thinking about how great it would be if a new park or event happened in the area.  That would not be possible in a place like New York City.  Everything to be done would already be happening.

I mean, we are in a desperate situation right now.  But 50 years from now, we’ll be the ones telling the grandkids how we got through it and built the new Michigan.  How great will that be?  Tough times create an opportunity to make a real difference.
