Top MI Republican Supports DNR/DEQ Merger
The Republican Majority Leader of the Michigan State Senate is now on record as supporting a merger of the Department of Natural Resources and the Department of Environmental Quality. The separation of the two entities happened under former Governor John Engler. The merger already has the support of current Governor Jennifer Granholm:
