Yesterday’s St. Patrick’s Day holiday brought a torrent of Irish-themed stories to area papers.  The Detroit News included a RECOMMENDED piece on Lenawee County’s Irish Hills.  The story includes a nice map of the Jackson Interlobe.  The interlobe is the area of glacial deposits that sweep from Oakland County southwest through Hillsdale County.  Hiking in our area would be nothing without the Jackson Interlobe.  Here’s the link:
