3.9 Trillion Gallons of Water Added to Lake Michigan in Past Year

Good rains and out-of-watershed snowfalls during the past year have added 3.9 trillion gallons of water to Lake Michigan during the past twelve months, according to WOOD TV meteorologist Bill Steffen.  Lake Michigan is now ten inches higher than last year.  Lake Erie, BTW, is now six inches above the historical average.  Link:
