Trenton Festival

Humbug Marsh will be open on Saturday, July 11th from 9-3 PM.  A free shuttle will run from the Trenton Festival from 11-3 PM. The shuttle leaves from 3rd and West in Trenton and arrives at Humbug Marsh (5645 West Jefferson). Limited parking is available at the marsh.
Keep a lookout for Puddles the Blue Goose who will be making a special appearance at the Trenton Festival!

Noteworthy Events:

FREE MOVIE at University of Michigan-Dearborn Campus on Rachel Carson.
Thursday, July 9th at 7 PM in Lecture Hall B in Social Science Building.
Film presented by Friends of the Detroit River, Inc. and University of Michigan – Dearborn and there will be a special appearance by the film’s writer and star, Kaiulani Lee.

The film is an intimate and poignant reflection of Carson’s life as she emerges as America’s most successful advocate for the natural world. A Sense of Wonder was shot in HD by Oscar-winning cinematographer Haskell Wexler at Carson’s cottage on the coast of Maine.
