Washtenaw B2B Trail on Ypsilanti City Agenda: July 21

Published by Mike Ingels at 7:58 am under Hiking: Regional, Washtenaw Hiking/Nature

The Ypsilanti City Council will consider a resolution in support of Washtenaw County’s Border to Border Trail during its July 21st meeting.  Trail advocates are asking that trail supporters attend and speak in favor of the project.  The B2B Trail follows the path of the Huron River across Washtenaw County.  Its western end reaches near the long-distance Waterloo-Pinckney and Lakelands Trails.  Its eastern end reaches nearly to the Huron-Clinton Metroparks pathways to Lake Erie.  So, this trail is extremely important in the creation of a long-distance regional trail network.
