Saturday, March 20   7-9 am  Humbug Marsh Unit
 
Join Karen Skrocki for a workshop on the basics of nature photography.  After an instructional talk, Karen will lead a walk where the group can try out their new skills.  
 
Program is free and group will meet at the education shelter in the Humbug Marsh Unit. Humbug Marsh is located at 5645 West Jefferson in Trenton, MI. Park at gate and walk 1/4 mile to the shelter. Questions? Call (734) 692-7649.

Flying Wild Workshop  
 
When: Wednesday, April 21
Where: Westfield Center (East Room) 2700 Westfield Road,  Trenton, Michigan

Time:  4:30-8 PM
 

 

Flying WILD professional development workshops are designed with urban educators in mind. Each training session (minimum of 3 hours) provides formal and nonformal teachers of K-12 students with a comprehensive overview of Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrating Birds, as well as practical hands-on training in its implementation.  Each participating educator receives a copy of Flying WILD: An Educator’s Guide to Celebrating Birds.  This is a great opportunity to network with other naturalist, teachers and volunteers as we explore these outstanding new guides.
 
Presented by Michigan Alliance for Environmental and Outdoor Education (MAEOE).
