Monroe County Fair 2008

You can meet the The Monroe Evening News staff at the Fair!

The Evening News is printing notices in the paper as to which employees are assigned to work which shifts at the Evening News booth. Today’s list includes:

• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.: Dave Zewicky and David Doig, both from circulation.
• 2 to 6 p.m.: Niles Kruger from sports, Deb Saul from editorial and Diana Smith from retail advertising.
• 6 to 10 p.m.: Renee Pinter from creative services and Tom Chulski from editorial.

I know this sounds a bit strange to brag about, but I’ve attended expos in other cities and learned much to my surprise that some of their newspaper booths were staffed by temporary staffing agency people … not actual employees of the local newspaper.

By the way, I’ll be at the booth from 2 to 6 p.m. Thursday.
