We’re In Mexico!
March 4th, 2008 Posted in GrowthWell, we arrived here in Mexico to visit our daughter and her family at Refuge Ranch. We left home in Michigan at about 6:30 a.m. last night (Monday evening) and arrived here at the ranch at about 6:30 p.m. When we arrived at the Mexico City airport no one was here to greet us (Victor, our son-in-law was to pick us up). Finally, about an hour later, a couple my wife Diann recognized from Julie and Victor’s church showed up. Victor’s vehicle had broken down. So, we piled all our stuff in this couple’s car and took a taxi (no room in his car for both us and our luggage) to this women’s brother’s house where we got into this brother’s car and then drove to the Ranch. Long day.
Just about to sit down to breakfast on this Tuesday morning. We’re going tent camping with everyone starting today (and you thought tent camping was roughing it in the States! Although it took a lot to ge here, it’s good being here. Pretty much the way life is, right? To have some good you have to take some tough times too!
