Thanks for joining me in an ongoing conversation about faith. I’m Dave Claassen. I seek to give spiritual leadership to a group of people called the Mayfair-Plymouth Congregational Church. The church is in Toledo, though my wife and I have been residents of Bedford Township here in Michigan for nearly 30 years. Diann and I have been married for over 35 years. We have two grown children.
Our daughter is a missionary in Mexico with her husband. They have 9 children (3 by birth and 6 by adoption). Our son is a police detective in a suburb of Indianapolis (if I give any more details of his location he may have to shoot me). He and his wife have a son. Yes, we are enjoying our 10 grandchildren! |
I’m interested in writing and have published several books and have written many unpublished and rejected book manuscripts as well! I also enjoy photography with my Nikon D70 camera. Ventriloquism is another of my interests (my little “buddy” is Ricky — he always gets the best lines in our routines). Then there’s my decorative fish pond by our patio, another hobby I enjoy.
