Stardust is based on a graphic novel of the same title.
It’s a really neat fantasy story about a boy who seeks a fallen star to give to his beloved (who does NOT share his feelings), and discovers the fallen star is a beautiful woman who is now being chased by both a pair of wicked brothers and a trio of witches.
This film was great fun! The imagery was great, the acting very well done, and the story telling was a throwback to an interesting childhood fairy tale.
It might not be a big blockbusting “film of the year”… but it’s still a good time, and if you get a chance to see it before it leaves theaters, then you should!
