I went on Wednesday to see August Rush on its opening night.
It was BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!
The acting was amazing from ALL actors in the film.
The music (and even non-musical sound) use in the film was extrordinary! For instance, when the kid first gets to NYC and is in complete awe of it, all the sounds of the city merge together to make a wonderful harmonious song with a great beat… until he becomes frantic… then all the sounds clash, creating disonance and disarray.
Very nice cinematography.
It’s just a magnificant film that EVERYONE should run to the theaters to see. NOW!
