Tuesday, February 12th, 2008One of the movies to come out over the weekend was “Fool’s Gold“.
I felt like the combo of Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson wasn’t as strong here as it was in “How to lose a guy in 10 Days” I also think this was Donald Sutherland’s worst performance to date.
The girl who playd Sutherland’s daughter was annoying as HELL!
The bad guys weren’t really convincing.
What I’m saying here is that the acting was pretty forced and kinda crappy.
The story, though was good.
The pacing was a bit slow (especially during history lesson scenes).
All-in-all, it felt almost like… National Treasure meets How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days. It was odd.

Tuesday, February 5th, 2008just got called today and told that dude to scheduling changes, I won’t be on movie mob next week 
but maybe in a couple of weeks.

I just got called today, and told that I’m going to be on the next week’s episode of Movie Mob on Reelz Channel!
I’m going to get e-mailed tomorrow with details of how to put my info on the website… but basically, by wednesday, there’ll be a profile for me up on the movie mob’s page on ReelzChannel.com. I’ll have to review 3 trailers, and on Friday I’ll get sent to a matinee movie and have to review it for the show.
I’m WAY stoked! I wonder which movie they’ll send me to.
The movies that are coming out on Friday are: Fool’s Gold, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins, The Hottie & The Nottie, In Bruges (limited release), Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show (limited release).
So I’ll get sent to one of those.
