Weekend Stuff

Friday, October 5th, 2007

The perch fishing continues to be good in practically the same areas as last week.  The walleye fishing is only getting better as the fall turnaround begins.  This is where the water begins to cool with the cooler days and nights.  The eyes are coming in following the baitfish.  For 18 to 24 fow (foot of water) bites look to the early mornings and later in the evening, begining around 4:30 and 5pm.

Don’t forget the fun things planned at Cabela’s this weekend with the wrap up of the Masters Walleye Circuit Championship in Dundee.  Lots to do during the day while the anglers are on the water.  You can check the previous post on this for more details.  Final weigh-in is tomorrow afternoon.
