Think somebody started a new family tradition recently. Normally over the fireplace we have this really great looking eagle. This year it was replaced, only temporarily for the season with this Christmas wreath. Sometimes you just have to bend to the greater will, or like my brother says, you just pick your battles. Ok, since there are family members now reading all about fishing, I am sure I would catch some holy %&*@, if I didn’t have a baby update. Here is Lani wearing her Christmas outfit, ok one of her Christmas outfits, seriously I quit counting after three. This was a gift from our neighbor Micki Keck out here in Ida. You have to understand, Mick has kind of adopted my father since Mom died, her and her husband Don look out for him. In return the number one son goes over and cleans gutters and other manual labor type things. Specially during the seasons, better neighbors you couldn’t ask for.
Ok this picture, has nothing to do with the season. Lani has outgrown her baby car seat. Not a bad thing, but she no longer will be sitting reversed in the seat, nor have the little visor to keep the sun out of her eyes. To compensate for the glare on those sunny days, Michelle raided the dollar store for several pairs of cool sunglasses. Did I say cool? Meant cute in her “Cheap Sunglasses”!!!
