Knutson’s is going forward with our Ice Tournament it will be called the Midwest Open Ice Tournament and it will be held Jan. 20th 2008, at Wamplers Lake with the rules meeting being held on the evening of Jan. 19th.
$15,000 pay out based on a field of 150 teams
Entry fee will be $120.00 per 2 man team ( $60 per fisher )
if a field of 150 is not met the % of pay out will be
1st-30% or $4500 for full field plus trophy
2nd-15% or $2250 for full field plus trophy
3rd-10% or $1500 for full field plus trophy
4th-10th-5% or $750 for full field
11th-15th-2.5% or $375 for full field
There will be additional prizes for the teams placing 20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90,100,110,120,130,140
A cash prize and trophies will be awarded for Biggest Bluegill and Biggest Crappie
It will be a 16 fish Tournament - 8 Bluegill and 8 Crappie
Rules will be based on previous tournaments and will be posted very soon
$20 of each entry fee will be earmarked for such items as trophies, insurance, advertising, and the purchase of a Tournament Scale and anything left will be used as seed money for next years tournament.
