The weekend report from Matthew’s B&T
While I was working on the preparations for my brother’s 40th birthday party, mainly setting up and keeping the grills, smoker and camp stoves dry, the fishing on Lake Erie was kicking back into gear. Perch fishing remains steady, and some really nice walleye reports came into the shop. With yesterday’s cool weather, coupled with the conditions this morning, the fishing should remain steady. Don’t forget, when you stop in and get your bait, ask Mike and Jason for those GPS coordinates.
A COUPLE OF NICE WALLEYE REPORTS HAVE COME IN THIS MORNING!!
Good catches of PERCH continue to come through the doors from right out in front of Bolles Harbor near the E Bouy in 22′ of water. Move often until you get over an active school and then load up!! PERCH RIGS and SHINERS are working best. We have a great selection of PERCH tackle to help get em in the cooler this year!!
Two nice WALLEYE reports came in this morning!! A couple of regulars did well yesterday on crawler harnesses out front in 22 to 23′ of water taking 23 fish. They said the spoon bite wasnt producing but the crawelers were. Fish were also taken at Sputnik yesterday evening!
Make sure you get out on Sunday it is supposed to be a beautifull day!!
Good Luck & Tight Lines,
Capt. Mike
