What I Found @ the Fair: Absolute Taxidermy
As I walked all over the fairgrounds the last couple of days, I found several exhibits of interest. The first one is Absolute Taxidermy, located in Carleton, Michigan. The owner is Vaughn Chambless, and this wasn’t the first time I had seen his work. At the boat show back in the spring Mr. Chambless was set up and I was able to see (as were many others who walked by) his work first hand. He was doing his work right there in the booth as he applied this fascinating craft. Today and Saturday he will be doing it as well.
If you are in the Expo Center, stop by along the East Wall and see his booth up close. The pic above is the display, and everything looked pretty darn good.
