Even though it says Mr. Crappie on the side, it still works for perch, or bluegills. Don’t put them away come winter fishing, handy to have out on the ice as well.
The ones I have actually came from Staples or Office Max when they were in Monroe at the Mall next to Sears. Mine cost quite a bit more, so five bucks is a steal when compared. It also adds an element of fun, throw a fish in the cooler, and yell “click” and who ever has the counter, clicks off another one. Its even better when “click, click” means a good double brought up to the boat.
…between the Raisin and Stoney Pt.
We tried the dumping grounds yesterday afternoon after launching out at Bolles. A few boats, lots of algae and a couple of stolen minnows later, we head for the bay. We had one move left in us, and then settled in until 6:30, and raked in some yummy yellow bellies. So I have the 100 from Sat to clean today, plus40 or 50 more from yesterday. Need to get them counted, forgot my clicker. Going to put this one up and will look up the clickers that I use in a minute and get that on the web. They are great tools so that you don’t get nabbed by you know who.
