Recipe: Old Millington Guys & “Nick’s Crowd Pleaser”
Posted on 21 December 2007 under Eat This Blog, Photos, Snacking
It seems a couple of the Old Millington Guys, a bunch of old guys who live in Millington, had a recipe contest last year for “Best Looking Old Fart in an Elf Suit” … err … sorry, wrong photo … “Best Appetizer”. Nick’s take on Crocked ‘n Potted Little Wieners apparently won the lot, even though there’s no explanation of what he won. (Hopefully, enough solid German stout to wash these puppies down!) Click on the above photo for the recipe and be sure to follow the instructions … especially where it reads, “Ditch the grease”.

Yes Dave, this recipe meets the Millington German cooking standards - bacon grease! My son-in-law is still strutting with his cooking victory, even though I gave him the original recipe. Merry Christmas to your family and you.

Yes, the Millington standards are very-much an extension of the Frankenmuth standards. Except Millington standards mean the Steak Tartare has to be well-done.
