I worry about the bees too. Today, in a different location, I looked around at all of the dandelions, trees and shrubs blooming and did not see even one honey bee. 
I agree with you, if the tree is basically sound and not ready to blow over in a storm, that&#039;s probably the best place for them. Some beekeepers will &quot;capture&quot; a hive like that (to place in their own apiary) if it is not too high up.

		<description>My dad kept bees for years. Looking at your photos evokes the smell and the sound...I worry about the bees. One of my garden clients has a big old bee hive in the top of one of his dead trees. I told him to leave it alone as the bees are endangered!
