Historical Quote for Dec 17, 2008
This quote comes to from H.G. Wells:

“Human History becomes more and more a race between education and catastrophe”
I guess the logic in this is a company, communities and government due to being conscious of their bottom line first and foremost, pushes the experienced and aged out the door, at some point, quickly. “Out with the old and in with the new.” My boat club just recently did that. Now the new board membersare all young, with new ideas. But, many of the so called “new ideas” have been tried in the past, in some form, they (we) are just too young to remember. My point is every board, every division of every company and branch of law needs the older generation because of their experience. Companies should spend a little more for that experience to avoid spending more money later when everything goes to hell due to inexperience. I believe history tells us this country, for example, has gone througheconomical rough timesbefore even in the housing industry…what did we learn from it, and where are those people to stear us out of thisor their memoirs for our politicians to study? There are some lessons and protocol that could be duplicated from within the fireside recordings from a prior president….can you tell me who that is?????????
We’ll talk more on this subject and those records. Much can be learned!!!!!
Make it a Historical Day!!!!!!!!!!
