Where do you buy your fresh meats?
I’d like to see where the Monroe locals buy their meat, if not from the grocery store. Do you have a favorite butcher or farmer? Where at? Contact info? What makes them your favorite?
Let’s support our local resources any time we can - I’d like to know about as many of them as possible and maybe there is one near you that you didn’t know about.

Danny’s - Elm and Roessler or Cole and Macomb. Major 4H buyers at Fair time!

Sara, I usually go to Danny’s on Elm. When I can, I love Trader Joe’s in Ann Arbor, Hiller’s Market also in Ann Arbor, of course Whole Foods, and the meat store inside the Anderson’s in Toledo has organic and free range meats. There is an organic meat farm near Chelsea, but I’ve never tried it.
