Kentucky State Record Non-Typical
First of all I want to thank all of you who were praying for me, and keeping me in your thoughts yesterday. The heart catheter went off without a hitch, and everything inside the “pump house” seems to be in good working order. Now all I have to do is loose about 35 pounds and I’ll be all set for an Alaskan hunt!
I don’t know if anyone has heard of, or seen, this Kentucky monster, but is he impressive or what? It was shot with a gun in Livingston Ky. when Roger saw it chasing a doe. It was about 150 yards away when he first saw it, and he thought it looked like a keeper! Roger was right and then some. His deer has 21 points with a majority of them being extremely long. I don’t think I have ever seen a non-typical with this type of “head gear!” This is sure to be the new Kentucky state record non-typical, as it was measured by Buck Masters, and had a green score of 287! I think the old record is around 260. I don’t have a ton of information on this 215 pound dressed monster, but North American Whitetail is doing an article on Rogers deer. Boone and Crockett will wait the offical drying period before they take their measurement, but it shouldn’t shrink but a few points. Supposedly Roger has been offered as much as $200,000 for the deer! Now thats some”big bucks” for a “BIG BUCK!”

That is one unique and amazing rack right there. I wish I had a deer that was worth 200,000 bucks. Geesh, that would be nice.
