McCain Can Be Baptist Too
Apparently John McCain identifies himself as a Baptist when campaigning in predominately Baptist states; though he most often identifies himself as Episcopalian. How convenient. That kind of religious adaptability is just what we need in a commander in chief. Maybe he can be Muslim while calling for more bombing of the middle east.

Seems that a lot of focus has been given to Mitt Romney concerning his alleged flip-flops.
One thing Mitt has never filpped-flopped on his is religon.
I find it interesting that when campaigning in a heavily populated Baptist state, McCain is now a Baptist; while his website and political public relations material lists him as Episcopal.
I think McCain is losing it.

I agree. I think mccain is getting desperate.
I think romney is a very poor choice for president. but his religion has nothing to do with it. and i do give him credit for remaining faithful to his religion despite the criticism.
with a strict adherence to the constitution, we should not be concerned at all with the religion of our president. they have NO authority to legislate their morality, religion, or values on anyone. and one of their main jobs is to preserve this restriction on the authority of government.
when we lose sight of this, and begin to impose our values on others, we open the doors to others who wish to impose their differing values on us.
but the fact that someone would pander to an audience by morphing their religious affiliation shows a lack of principles.
