Q3 Fundraising Numbers Are In
It’s becoming increasingly difficult for the mainstream media to ignore Ron Paul. After it was announced that he raised over $5 million this past quarter — slightly above McCain — let’s see if they still give more attention to Huckabee who brought in about a fifth of what Paul did.
This puts Ron Paul in third place among republican candidates in terms of cash on hand. If you were to account for the amount of money, time, and effort spent on grassroots campaigning by Dr. Paul’s supporters, his numbers would easily double. This cannot be said of the other candidates who instead need to use their money to pay people to campaign for them.
While the funding for the other republican candidates continues to decline quarter to quarter, Ron Paul’s has increased exponentially.
Democrats have been much more successful overall, in raising money. likely indicating that Americans are fed up with republicans. After what BUch has done, can you blame them. I just hope they realize that electing any of the candidates (democrat or republican), save Ron Paul, we will face another four years (maybe eight) of the same thing.
