The State vs. The Economy
It looks like Michigan entrepreneurs won. The Michigan service tax was repealed almost immediately after it went into effect this past Saturday. So what do they win? How about a 22% surcharge on the state’s new business tax? That’s the replacement.
Hasn’t anyone noticed that transferring money from the private sector to the state, does more harm to the economy than good? Don’t you think that you can spend your money more wisely than a gang of know-it-all bureaucrats that you’ve never even met? Why do we allow them to take our money and spend it for us?
