The Education Foundation of Monroe Public Schools hosts a special guest this year for its annual dinner – former University of Michigan Football Coach Lloyd Carr.
Coach Carr’s visit will be held in the atrium of the La-Z-Boy center of Monroe County Community College on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

I didn’t want to jinx myself by mentioning it before, but somebody (ahem!) is going back to school (one dozen years later).
I think I was gypped, because unlike everyone else in this house who is going back to school, I did not get a new backpack, new undies, or new tennis shoes.
