Mom Moments

Somehow the baby is three weeks old already! My random thoughts…

• Nathan’s used up 4 packs of diapers so far.  That’s 185 I think?  That is a lot of diapers for less than a month.  IDK how to explain that number other than he’s never done when I think he is so I often change him twice within 3 minutes.
• He really likes singing.  I’m glad he’s too little to tell me I need a bucket to carry a tune or to roll his little eyes at my attempts to sing John Legend!  And its *sooo* cute to hear the big kids singing to him.
• Sitting home has gotten old.   Our house is only so big and seems to be shrinking every day.  If we could go outside for a walk I think I’d be better with it. 
• I can read!  Instead of watching TV while nursing the baby, I’ll read.  And the books will be grown up books, nothing with cardboard pages.  Helloooo Jodi Picoult!  And I anxiously await the Big Read.
• Circumcision is not fun for anyone. 
• The kids still adore the new baby.  Andrew is very loving to Nathan, Cassie is so helpful with him, Maddie is still really excited to have him here, and Jason is just pleased that someone is littler than him.
• The baby needs a nickname!
