Homemade Personalized Birthday Bingo

April 23rd, 2009 · No Comments

Personalized and easy and cheap…  That’s how I like the activities at the birthday parties I plan.

Birthday Bingo is lots of fun.  I like to make a new bingo game for each kids birthday.  Its very simple using just a word document and images from the internet.

  1. Open a word document and make a table (in my example I use 4×4, drag to fill up the page).
  2. Go to www.images.google.com and pick out your child’s favorite items or pictures related to the birthday theme (in my example, the party theme was “bugs”, I included his initial and his number- aka age, and his favorite cartoon characters and superheroes).
  3. Print one copy, then rotate the images so each bingo boards is different and print another.  Repeat until you have enough for all the guests.  (For older kids, you can have extra images to swap in and out, but for the littlest kids, you want to avoid a meltdown if their card doesn’t have the character that another kid has.)
  4. Print an extra copy and cut apart (the bingo caller needs this for calling the game).

We use poker chips to mark the squares for the little kids, food items are fun too (like smarties).

My example:  my-example-bingo

Have fun!
