My Mother’s Day Cookies:

cookie1

I really like to bake and these are my “famous” sugar cookies (famous in my mind anyways).

My frosting tip for fancy but easy frosting:

  • Color 1/4 cup of frosting one color and another 1/4 cup a second color, but leave the majority of the frosting white.
  • Fill the frosting bag with a spoon of color #1, a couple scoops of white, a scoop of color #2, and a couple more scoops of white.
  • Use a larger star tip, do the basic push and pull method without fully releasing the star.  This makes the process much quicker and looks “ribbon-y” IMO.
  • The frosting will mix together without fully blending and you will end up with this marble-y looking frosting.

THIS SITE has a really neat striped frosting recipe that I’ve yet to try.

I should proably learn how to make these. They’re really good.
