For my kids, a big part of the fair is the rides. We don’t do Cedar Point or carnivals, so we do attend the Monroe County Fair and to them it is a big deal. Picking which day to attend depends a lot on the ride deals offered. This is a summary of the info available on the Fair website. Actually having a baby this year, we’ll probably head out there two days, once for rides and once to see the rest of the fair.
Sunday, August 2- Only kiddie rides open on Midway, $1 each.
Monday, August 3- Midway opens at 5pm, $20 all-you-can-ride wristbands valid till 11pm.
Tuesday, August 4- $20 all-you-can-ride wristbands valid noon-10pm
Wednesday, August 5-all rides $1 each, all day
Thursday, August 6- $20 all-you-can-ride wristbands noon-10pm
Friday, August 7- $20 all-you-can-ride wristbands noon-10pm
Saturday, August 8- Midway opens at noon, rides regular price.
